TIME's August 2nd cover story, "The Case Against Summer Vacation" is a seven page expose on summer learning loss, and as importantly, a showcase for several impressive examples of summer programs making a difference for the kids who need it most. This is certainly the most comprehensive, widely distributed piece on our work to date. Editor-at-large David Von Drehle thoughtfully researched the issue, and reached out to experience some of the innovative solutions our field is creating to make summer learning interesting and engaging for young people.
