I give praise to God for pouring down so much blessings through so many earthly angels.  Felege Hiywot Center has become the “Garden Center” loved by so many youth because of all our supporters.   During the genesis of Felege Hiywot Center, I felt so many people were working hard on planning to improve the future with no interest to involve youth in the plan.  Well I am here   to tell you I was wrong.  The out pouring of support to our center is beyond measure.  

I give my deepest gratitude to Governor Mitch Daniels for recognizing the Felege Hiywot Center with this prestigious award and thank Isaac Randolph, Executive Director of Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives for the nomination.  I was very actively involved with Indiana black Expo during the time when Rev. Charles Williams was the president.  He cared for the community and was very involved in giving back to the community.  It is a great honor to receive Rev. Charles Williams Community Service Award.
