Tune in to Fox 59 TV on September 28 around 7:40 AM  for the Paying It Forward morning program.

On September 14th, FHC hosted Fox 59 TV camera crew while they filmed activity at our garden site for their morning Paying It Forward program.  Some of our summer campers who had participated in the Education by Gardening program were at the site for filming and interviews. The children helped weed the garden and harvested vegetables: green beans and squash. Next they examined the progress of vermi-composting experiment and found that the number of worms have increased in number and size. The children transferred the contents of the bins including the worms and compost to the compost pile in the garden. Three of the children were interviewed for the program.
