GA2G participated in Indianapolis Black History Month by sharing with others about their heritage and culture.
As their pride and knowledge in their ethnic Ethiopian heritage increases, the group has started looking forward to opportunities to share with others. The sharing has become easier each time and more fun.
This time during Black History Month, the group presented at Edna Martin Christian Center to both youth and senior citizens. The audience was very interested and asked many questions, which the GA2G youth were comfortable in answering.
This positive interaction increased their confidence and they look forward to more opportunities like this to share with others in the Indianapolis community.
