Felege Hiywot Center took part in this wonderful Humanitarian effort taking place to help people in the southern part of Ethiopia. Everyone at the center and Ethiopian community is very greatful to the doctors and staff providing a very needed servic. Our center was able to have table of cultural displsy showing the different cultures of Ethiopia and provided ethnic dish of Lentils, chicken and greens.

Founder of Soddo Christian Hospital
Thursday evening, October 15, 2009, Dr. Harold Adolph, founder of Soddo Christian Hospital (www.soddo.org), and career missionary surgeon will be speaking at the Junior Achievement Center, 7435 N. Keystone Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46240. There will be dinner, followed by Dr. Adolph’s lecture. There is no charge to attend, and donations will not be solicited. The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm and expected to end by 8:30 pm.
Soddo Christian Hospital opened in January 2005, located in the most densely populated area of rural southern Ethiopia, Wolaitta Soddo. A 200 bed facility, Soddo Christian Hospital serves a population area of 2.5 million people, providing needed medical services to one of the poorest and most underserved parts of the World. Soddo Christian Hospital is also a teaching hospital, and part of the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons.
Dr. Harold Adolph grew up in China, in a missionary family. He has had a prolific medical and surgical carrier in challenging circumstances, including threats to his life. The demands of his career have required him to do many different types of surgeries. You will find Dr. Adolph’s presentation interesting and challenging.
